The OP3000 System offers both absolute testing and relative testing and offers extraordinary flexibility for advanced phase noise testing in demanding environments. It is the only rugged phase noise test system of its kind in the market.

System Architecture

  • Based upon a Hybrid Delay-line Discriminator / PLL Noise Measurement System.
  • The OP3000 is “Frequency Agnostic” - can perform AM/FM measurements on any frequency within the band.
  • No crystals or LOs required (requires only the source under test for stimulus).
  • No downconverter is required.
  • Advantages of phase lock loop and delay line discriminator technology combined in one.
  • Superior noise performance achieved without the need for noise cancellation algorithms.
